Young Family Bracket Challenge Rules

Welcome to the Young Family Bracket Challenge!

All brackets must be filled out and sent to Brad via email before the tip off of the first game of the tournament. If you need more time, let me know. Brackets must be turned in before the opening tip of the tournament.

-1st round: 1 point for each correct pick to advance to the…
-2nd round: 5 points for each correct pick to advance to the…
-3rd round: 15 points for each correct pick to advance to the…
-4th round: 25 points for each correct pick to advance to the…
-5th round: 35 points for each correct pick to advance to the…
-6th round: 50 points for picking the correct National Champion.

RULES & GUIDELINES:
1- The playing of Scattergories with family members is prohibited during the Bracket Challenge. (You know why... :-p)
2- If you are caught using “DRUGS ”, the board is allowed to disqualify you immediately. (If you have to ask, you shouldn't be using it... and no pineapple salad)
3- If you do not bring your homework home from school like your parents ask, you will lose points .
4- You must do the bracket alone – no outside help is permissible.
5- Trash talk is not only permitted, but encouraged. But please be respectful. Or not.
6- All participants will send $5 to the winner after they have been announced.
7- The previous winner is responsible for sending the trophy (yes, we have one) to the new winner.
8- In the result of a tie: the winner will be determined using the final point total predicted for the National Championship game. Whoever guesses the closest total number of points scored during the game will win the challenge.
